Point of sale that works
when the internet doesn't.
Nivo One puts billing, inventory and real accounting in one fast app. It runs on your machines, syncs over your network, and never makes your counter wait for a server far away.
One sale, end to end.
Scroll through what happens in the four seconds after a customer puts rice on your counter.
Scan. That's the whole workflow.
Any HID barcode scanner works out of the box. Items land on the bill with price, tax and stock checked locally — there's no server round-trip, so there's no lag between beep and screen.
Charge it any way they pay.
Cash, card, UPI, store credit — or a split across them. Change is computed for you, customer dues update their ledger, and post-dated cheques are tracked until they actually clear.
The receipt is already printing.
Raw ESC/POS bytes go straight to your thermal printer the moment you charge — no print dialogs, no drivers acting up, no waiting. Bills route to the right printer automatically.
The books wrote themselves.
That one sale just posted five balanced journal lines — revenue, tax, cash, cost and inventory. Nobody typed them. At year end, your accountant opens real double-entry books.
Stock moved, with a paper trail.
The sale appended an entry to the stock ledger — not just overwrote a quantity field. Every count in Nivo One is the verifiable sum of its full history.
Every screen in the shop already knows.
Counter 2, the manager's tablet, the stock-check phone — all updated in real time over your local network. The internet was never part of this story.
From barcode beep to printed receipt in seconds.
The counter is where a POS earns its keep. Nivo One's billing screen is built for speed on real shop hardware — including budget touchscreens and small LCDs.
- ✓Barcode-first flow — scan, scan, scan, charge. Keyboard and search when you need them.
- ✓Every payment mode — cash, card, UPI, credit, cheques and post-dated cheques, or any split of them.
- ✓Customer credit built in — running ledgers per customer, dues visible right at billing time.
- ✓Returns done right — returns post against the original sale, adjusting stock and books together.
- ✓On-screen keyboard — English, हिन्दी and العربية layouts for touch-only counters.
Stock you can audit, not guess.
Most POS systems store a single "quantity" number that drifts from reality. Nivo One records every movement as an append-only ledger entry, so the current count is always the provable sum of its history.
- ✓Full trail — purchases, sales, returns and adjustments each leave a permanent entry.
- ✓Variants & units — sizes and packs with unit conversions (buy in cartons, sell in pieces).
- ✓Smart valuation — weighted average, FIFO or expiry-aware FEFO, configurable per item.
- ✓Suppliers & purchases — purchase orders, goods receipt and supplier dues in the same flow.
- ✓Low-stock alerts — reorder points surface on the dashboard before shelves go empty.
The books write themselves.
Every sale, purchase, payment and receipt automatically posts balanced double-entry journal lines. At year end, your accountant opens real books — not a pile of CSV exports to reconstruct.
- ✓True double-entry — every voucher posts debits and credits that always balance.
- ✓Immutable postings — posted vouchers can't be silently edited; corrections are new documents.
- ✓Party ledgers — customer and supplier balances, ageing and dues at a glance.
- ✓Cheque & PDC lifecycle — post-dated cheques tracked as unrealized until they clear.
- ✓Integer money — amounts stored in minor units, computed with big-number math. No float rounding, ever.
Add a counter in the time it takes to install an app.
No server room, no static IPs, no consultant. The admin machine hosts an embedded server; every other device finds it on your network by itself and stays in sync, live.
- ✓Zero-config discovery — terminals find the admin machine over mDNS automatically.
- ✓Live everywhere — a sale on counter 3 updates stock on every screen instantly over WebSockets.
- ✓Mix any devices — desktop admin, Android tablet billing, phone for stock checks. One app.
- ✓Roles per user — cashiers bill, managers approve discounts, owners see reports.
Speaks fluent shop floor.
Printers, scanners, drawers and scales are where software meets the real world — and where most POS products quietly fail. Nivo One drives them natively, byte by byte.
- ✓ESC/POS thermal printing — USB and network receipt printers, with per-document routing.
- ✓Barcode scanners — any HID scanner works instantly; supports custom SKU patterns too.
- ✓Cash drawers — kick on payment, tracked against shifts.
- ✓Weighing scales — weight-embedded barcodes for loose goods.
And the rest of the iceberg.
One app replaces the billing software, the inventory spreadsheet and the accounting package.
Billing that never stops
Receipts keep printing with zero internet. Every sale lands in a local database first — the cloud is optional, not required.
Multi-terminal, zero config
The admin machine runs the server; every other terminal discovers it on your LAN automatically and syncs in real time.
Ledger-grade inventory
Every movement is an append-only entry — purchases, sales, returns, adjustments. Stock counts you can audit, not guess.
Real double-entry accounting
Sales, purchases, payments and receipts post to a proper ledger automatically. Your accountant gets books, not exports.
Thermal printing that just works
Native ESC/POS for receipt printers across platforms — bills and labels routed to the right printer every time.
Multilingual touch keyboard
Built-in on-screen keyboard with English, हिन्दी and العربية layouts and bundled fonts — ready for touch counters.
Tax-ready invoicing
GST and VAT at the engine level — per-item rates, inclusive/exclusive pricing, clean tax summaries on every document.
Reports that answer questions
Sales, stock, profitability and ledgers — dense, fast reports designed for daily decisions.
Your data, on your machine
Everything lives in an encrypted local database you own. Cloud licensing never holds your sales hostage.
Users, roles & permissions
Cashiers bill, managers approve, owners see everything. Fine-grained permissions per role, per terminal.
Multiple businesses, one install
Run more than one shop or firm from the same installation, each with its own books, stock and settings.
Updates without downtime
Over-the-air patches and self-updating desktop builds — fixes arrive without touching the counter.

Start selling
Bill, print, track stock and watch the books write themselves. Internet down? Nothing changes.
Offline-first vs. cloud-only.
Most modern POS products are websites in a kiosk. Here's what that means at the counter.
| At the counter | Nivo One | Typical cloud POS |
|---|---|---|
| Internet goes down mid-rush | ✓ Keeps billing, full speed | ✗ Counter freezes or degrades |
| Where your data lives | ✓ Your machine, encrypted | ✗ Someone else's server |
| Billing latency | ✓ Local — instant | ✗ Round-trip to a data centre |
| Add a terminal | ✓ Install app, auto-discovers | ✗ Often per-terminal subscription |
| Accounting | ✓ Double-entry, built in | ✗ CSV export to another product |
| Vendor shuts down | ✓ App and data still yours | ✗ Counter goes dark |
Engineered like infrastructure.
The boring guarantees that decide whether you can trust a system with your money.
✓ Money is never a float
Amounts are stored as integers in minor units and computed with big-number math. No rounding surprises, ever.
✓ Posted documents are immutable
A posted invoice can't be silently edited. Corrections are new documents — your audit trail stays honest.
✓ Append-only ledgers
Accounting and stock both write forward-only. History can be read, never rewritten.
✓ Offline-first, not offline-capable
Local is the primary copy, not a cache. Sync is a background convenience, never a blocker at the counter.
✓ Encrypted at rest
Your business database is encrypted on disk. Losing a laptop doesn't mean losing your privacy.
✓ One codebase, five platforms
The same tested core runs everywhere — fixes and features land on all your devices at once.
Fair questions.
Does Nivo One need an internet connection?
No. Billing, inventory, printing and accounting all run on your own machines and sync over your local network. Internet is only used for license activation and optional off-site features — if it drops, nothing at the counter changes.
Which platforms does it run on?
macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS — one identical app on all five. A typical shop runs a desktop as the admin terminal and adds Android tablets or phones as extra counters.
How does multi-terminal sync work?
The admin machine hosts an embedded server. Other terminals discover it automatically on your Wi-Fi or LAN (no IP addresses to type) and stay in sync over WebSockets in real time.
Is my data safe?
Your business database lives on your own admin machine, encrypted at rest. We never see your sales. Posted documents are immutable and both stock and accounts are append-only ledgers, so history can't be silently rewritten.
What hardware does it support?
ESC/POS thermal receipt printers (USB and network), barcode scanners, cash drawers and weighing scales. If your hardware speaks a standard protocol, Nivo One can usually drive it.
Can I run more than one business?
Yes. One installation can host multiple businesses, each with completely separate books, inventory, users and settings.
